La 5éme édition du Rallye Sahari 2019 annulée



Après l’assemblée générale extraordinaire (AGEx) de la Fédération algérienne des sports mécaniques (FASM) tenue jeudi dernier 26 septembre à Alger pour décider du sort du rallye international d'Algérie-2019, Les membres de l'assemblée générale extraordinaire ont entériné à l’unanimité la décision du bureau fédéral d’annuler la 5éme édition du rallye international Sahari.
Cette annulation, ayant pour principale motif l'état de sa trésorerie, dans le rouge en raison du mode de gestion de l'ancien bureau fédéral qui n'a laissé aucun sou permettant d'organiser une compétition internationale d'envergure.
Néanmoins un semblant d’espoir demeure puisque la fédération parle aussi d’un report au mois de mars 2020 en confiant l’organisation du rallye à un opérateur nationale ou étrangère, la FASM engage à accompagner et aider l’opérateur qui émet le souhait d’organiser l’édition 2020 ou tout autre rallye.
La FASM rappelle aussi que la vocation de la fédération étant la promotion des sports mécaniques en général et non pas l’organisation d’événements internationaux mais seulement leur encadrement dans le respect des lois et règlements.
La fédération organisera par contre tout événement local ou régional à caractère pédagogique dans le cadre de sa mission de formation de pilotes et des personnels techniques et veillera aussi à l’organisation des différents championnats toutes disciplines confondues.
